Coaching Bio's

Coach Max:

Maximillion von Rabenau attended Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, Illinois where he played three years with the Junior Varsity Team and one year for the Varsity Team. He has trained all around the world with a variety of soccer camps including Notre Dame, Duke, Eurotech Soccer, People to People Sports Ambassadors, and the EuroSoccer Academy of the USA. He has been to Sweden, Denmark, Romania, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, and Belgium where he competed in the Gothia Cup, the Brazilian Cup, the Carpathian Cup, and the Brussels Tournament. In college, he was captain for Colorado Mountain College and earned the All-Region Award for two years. Then he transferred to University of Portland and played for two years with the University of Portland Football Club.  Most of his coaching experience comes from where he has trained and competed. He has volunteered coaching with recreational coed soccer with U-15s and he was an assistant coach with the Milwaukie High School Junior Varsity Team. Maximillion is looking to provide the Washington Soccer Academy with his experience, knowledge, and love for the game of soccer.

Coach Chris:

 

Chris Marlahan began coaching youth soccer in 2003 while living with his family in Las Vegas, NV. He coached his daughter Mackenzie from U-6 to U-8 in an AYSO affiliated league. Since moving to the Camas-Washougal area in 2005, he was an assistant coach on Mackenzie’s U-9 rec team and coached his daughter Brenna’s U-5 and U-6 teams. Last season, he was the assistant coach of the VUSA 97 White select team. Chris has attended several soccer training seminars, and has a U10 Coaching certificate as well as his USSF “E” certificate. Chris is excited to work and learn with Max, and have the Valor White team playing with passion and at their highest ability.
