CW Fire BU18 are the Washington State Commissioner Cup Champion’s with a 3-0 win vs the Tri Mountain Avalanche!!
In addition the team won the 2010 Leanne Ehnat Fair Play Award

1st goal by Brandon Defibaugh, volley off of a cross deflected out by the Tri-mountain defense.
2nd goal by Joshua Kelley assisted by Danny Cohen, combination plays all the way through the goal.
3rd goal by Kelley, long shot about 30 yards out, unexpected by goal keeper.
Team led by captains Elliott Juarez and Casey Martchinske.
Boys played the game of their lives and it showed with the end result with a 3-0 shutout.
Tremendous defensive play by shutting out Tri-mountain,
Brilliant combination plays by the midfield and front line.
Tony Schleich the goal keeper made some absolutely extravegant saves.
This team worked hard all season long for this day. The goal was to at least make it to the semi finals after getting 4th in the fall season.
This group of young men is truly a band of brothers that have stuck together through thick and thin, picking each other up on the down times and cheering each other on during the highs.
These boys truly love one another, you can tell when they are on the field, as well as when they are off of it. It has been a true honor teaching these boys about the wonderful game of soccer and learning to come together to overcome any challenge together, as any team should do.
Players from Camas, Washougal, Mt. View, Evergreen, Praire. Any high school would be fortunate to get these players.
Felix Schreiner is an exchange student at Mt. View from Dortmund, Germany.
This was Casey Martschinske’s 5th state Championship win.
Head Coach Joshua Juarez is a student at Clark College and was part of Camas’ winning HS season in 2007.
