Gary brings to WSA/CWSC/FCV an incredible soccer resume and a proven successful track record in Club administration that is unequaled in SW Washington youth soccer.

Gary has both played and coached soccer at the highest levels in the United States.

He was a four-year starter at the University of Portland and was coached by the soccer great, Clive Charles.

Prior to playing for UP he was an alternate on the U17 National Team and a three-year player for the Region IV Olympic Development Program and the Washington State ODP.

Gary’s coaching experience includes working directly with Clive Charles as an Assistant Head Coach at the University of Portland.

Gary was the Director of the Men’s and Women’s soccer program at Linfield College

While at Lake Oswego Soccer Club, Gary coached teams to the Far West Regional finals and semifinals

Gary was a DOC at Lake Oswego Soccer Club and most recently DOC at RVSC where he successfully grew the club from 1000 to 2400 players in just three and a half years

Gary is highly credentialed and holds a USSF National A License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and a National Youth Coaching License
Recently, Camas Washougal Soccer Club and FC Vancouver Premier Soccer Club joined together to form WSA – Washington Soccer Academy. WSA/CWSC is a true three-tiered soccer club offering recreational, select and premier levels of soccer all within one club. The addition of Gary Osterhage as Director of Coaching, further establishes WSA/CWSC/FCV as the elite soccer club in SW Washington now and well into the future.
